So, my last bakings before a long waited vacation, whee! I finally got some pics of this millet bread – more shall be displayed here again.
Whitebread with overnight sponge is a good basis for anykind of “extra” stuff – nuts, seeds, apple, spices.. Just be sure, that when you add something to it, do not put too much stuff. I add 38g+38g per a bread (the recipe can be found under the white bread with overnight sponge), and that’s just fine – though it looks like such a small amount in the beginning. Oh yes, and only add them when you do your first knead, together with the salt.
This one got a funny shape, the dough being so loose. Guess the carrots affected to that.. and maybe the millet as well, since I wash and boil it for a while before adding to bread. Want to make sure they are soft in there. But that’s it for now! I might be posting something from Germany too, in case I find something super-yummy!
