..’cause it just was so great! I had the breadcourse today, and it was a success! I must say, that it made me feel like I know something about baking bread – and sharing this knowledge to others surely made my day today. Here is a sum of everything.
So, the aim was to bake a pigbread for everyone during our three hour long course. In the end there was me and 9 others attending – one had to cancel and another one just didn’t arrive. But the people I had on my course – they were amazing! So helpful (thanks for all the cleaning!) and exited about baking . The atmosphere was superb and I really had a great afternoon.
Another great thing was to see, that I do unsterstand something about bread baking. I could share a lot of info about the structure, temperatures, ingredients – how they all matter and how we can improve our bread. People asked a lot of questions, and I gave out a lot of answers. And we all learned new stuff.
Ok, not to make it too rosy, we did have a little set back too; The bread! I don’t say there was anything wrong with the piggies, but we were close to a catastrofe, as the desiliters seemed all to be different sizes (very suspicious). But with the help of open-minded ppl and a little “personal training” from me, we got through it and to the victory we went! Here we are .. ..well, we are almost there, just missing the faces;
Another amazingly social day behind, and I survived. I think I could have a future with the courses as well – being part of whatever I end up doing. And to the close future – if I understood it correctly, there might be another course coming up in the spring, yay!
Ps. Got feedback from random students on the corridor as well – as I was packing in the end, I heard them talk; “It smells good here” “Pulla!”. Hehe, awesomeness.
