Yes, here it is – a new year, hopefully with new breads as well! ..And perhaps with some other bakings too, especially those certain Karelian ones;
And then a pic of those puff-bakings I mentioned last time, also called Eberswalder piped pastries;
They were good, though quite time taking to make as well.. but the best thing was that they were BUBBLY!
Also this bread I made was amazingly bubbly, too. I mean, for being made without a real sourdough.
It was made with the help of the book Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day – this time I modified the recipe so that the dough was quite wet and the results were so much better! And it really is quite fast to make, so I guess I’m starting to understand this thing, too.
Can’t wait to bake more.. ..first just have to eat some old ones away from the freezer.
