Huh, never before in my life had I slept 24 hours, but the other day/night, I just did. The day before, me and my team from Proacademy had our final test, called 24 hour innovation
So, on Thursday morning we all set on work. We had two assignments – another was for real estate business and the other dealt with Finnish ice-hockey. Surprise, I was part of the group to deal with the hockey. Well, honestly I do not know much about the subject, but it didn’t really matter. All in all, our teams totally rocket it, and received very good results.
And now I’ve been resting and enjoying my time together with my sweet oven. It sure has been sweet today, made me a yummy pancake – which actually looked quite odd in the oven. I mean, they always look funky, but never had this kind before:
I also made some cream puffs. I’ve made choux dough only once before in my life, so thought a little practice on that would be good. I made quite a flat version of the famous croquembouche. For some reason I’ve for long admired that cake, but I’m starting to think it wouldn’t be that difficult to make actually. And well, cream puffs ain’t the yummiest baking of the world. Lacking some flavour, if you ask me. Mine had cherry and vanilla inside and caramel on top.
But, now back to resting and enjoying life in Tampere. Not many days left here anymore.
And a small tribute to our sweet, over 16-year-old, cat, that passed away the other day. I think this is the last pic I took of him, in the Summer when we were outside playing with the puppy:
