There are certain famous bakings every enthusiastic home-baker just has to try making at least once, and one of those is the amazing Black Forest Gateau -cake. So, here’s my interpretation of it:
Basic 4 egg cake bottom, with dark cacao powder – whipped cream and cherries – almond and chocolate flakes for deco (ready made from the store) – and then I decided to create some chocolate pudding for the edges. To make it be more my style.
And I can’t believe I’m saying this about a chocolate whipped cream cake, but it actually is super yummy. Not at all too sweet this time. And I must say, it is quite good looking, too. Looks almost like I bought it.
Been baking bread too, but just for eating. Nothing to show off with. And writing English is becoming quite painful. Been reading and listening so much German lately… ’cause I’m preparing for my trial period at the bakery next week! I’m quite excited about it and really hoping to get that training place.
