I’m finally building myself a new sourdough! Can’t wait ’till it’s ready to use, perhaps then I’ll have some better results with my baguettes.
So, now we’ve just been eating the previous baguettes away. Also baked a random bread, which turned out pretty cute:
Then one day I made pasta. Followed the “Homemade white flour and egg pasta” recipe from here. It turned out very good, the structure of the dough was very smooth. Just ought to have rolled it out a bit thinner, but being my first attempt and made without a pasta machine, it was splendid.
And what would be a week without a cake. So, made again one with gelatine. Something fresh, light and lemony – little bit of this and that. Was very soft, but luckily still solid.
Enjoying the beginning of the summer and hoping to buy a ticket to Finland soon. Perhaps next week.
