Been baking too much again. Not meaning to, but it happens. I decided to try this recipe from a gorgeous bread blog called “Bread cetera” (too bad there ain’t updates after 2010). The recipe worked out quite well, only problem being the portion size, which I kinda ignored, ‘until I started dividing the dough. Boah, made me four huge loaves! Was such a job for the little oven, but it made it.
Luckily the breads turned out delicious, though the looks weren’t that awesome. It’s not so easy to create a crust in my oven, and baking loaves too big for the oven pans makes them all wrinkled from the corners. Oh well, just have to look at the slices then, for the structure at least looks good.
And well, I haven’t only baked bread, but also some apple-pie and cake try-outs… So now my freezer is full again (it’s that kind of a mini-freezer in a mini-fridge), and I’m trying to restrain myself from baking. Luckily Carlos and I are planning a nice trip for the next weekend, and perhaps I’ll be baking some meat dougnuts and pulla for that then. We’ll see on Thursday what I’ve come up with, now just eating all the other stuff away.
