Carlos and I have a long drive ahead. We are making a little weekend trip to the South of Germany, also to the mountains! We’ll be staying in a tent on this camping area, and then hopefully find our way up to the beautiful little hills around there. Too bad the highest point of Germany (Zugspitze, 2962m) seems to be a bit too challenging for beginners like us… But at least we’ll go to see it! (And then I’ll do my best to convince Carlos to give it a shot.)
Anyway, I spend today baking food for us to survive the weekend. Here’s what I made:
Meat dougnuts, Carlos asked for them and well, I still have the oil from the last time.
Bread, with sourdough, rye flour and some seeds. Easy to tear.
Also, all in all pretty basic stuff, but I think they are suited for a trip like this.
Earlier this week I made pancakes, ‘since Carlos brought me lots of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and whipping cream. I found also our pancake-pan, which I thought was lost forever. Actually, it was in our closet…
So, next time my sis and co. come to visit, I can serve them a bit more luxurious treat~
