Huh, a week has passed again. Time just flies. In between we’ve enjoyed some croissants and focaccia. Tried the croissant recipe from Bread cetera, flavor was gorgeous, but the structure was missing some flakiness. Didn’t make any pics, but not to worry. I’ll be making some more croissant next week, for Carlos has to have some yumminess stored in the freezer while I’m gone.
Yes, I’ll be flying to Finland again. To help dad with some work, and to enjoy the Finnish summer, ’cause at least so far checking the weather forecasts, it’s been more summer over there than here in Germany. It could all change tomorrow though, instead of 18 degrees we are expected to get 28. We’ll see about that.
And there are lots of other things to see next week, too. We’ll probably have to go to look for some wallpapers and stuff, for we found a new apartment to move in! From 25m2 to over 60m2 – makes me wanna play hide and seek, for there’s so much space to get lost into. And lots of room for visitors, too. I’ll make some pics later on in autumn, when we actually move in.
So, now that we got apartment I can enjoy my time in Finland without a rush. As long as I’m back before August, for then I should start studying baking. So, next time I’ll be posting it’s from Finland then. We’ll see what I get to bake there…
Made some seed bread again for us to eat, this time with some whole grains in it. Felt funny to buy those things, having fed them to our animals for almost all my life. They do make a nice add-on to a bread dough, too. Just have to soften them overnight in a hot water.
