Took off for a few days and headed to Finland. Was lovely, it is definitely the best place to be. I enjoyed baking what I had time for, especially trying out new cake tactics was fun (made two cakes for my parents 30th anniversary). Have to still practice some cake making, though, especially chocolate ones.
And now been adapting to the German way of life again. Hadn’t forgotten too much about bakery life, just the berliner season really kicks me off the road. We started baking them right before I left, and now making them is already a routine for the others. Have some catching up to do.
Had already time to make some Finnish Archipelago Bread, too. It goes so well with the fish I got from my mother. And thanks for all the other flavors of Finland as well. Got plenty of homemade jams now, so yummy!
